Graduates from non government accredited Pilates teacher training courses can apply to Tensegrity Training for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to gain the Nationally Recognised 10596NAT Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology and/or 52728WA Certificate IV in Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology. The 52728WA Certificate IV in Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology is a pre-requisite for entry to 10596NAT Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology. The RPL application fee is $800 for the Integrated Diploma and  $500 for the Certificate IV only. Additional costs may be involved based on your experience in the areas of marketing and Somatics.

The Tensegrity Training recognition of prior learning (RPL) process recognises the quality of training received through industry based courses and that experienced and competent Pilates instructors may apply for RPL. Tensegrity Training ensures the process of gaining a nationally recognised qualification is an efficient process for you.

 

• Knowledge will be assessed by interview and submitted documentation

• The candidate must provide evidence of their ability to competently undertake a range of contemporary exercises from the Pilates exercise repertoire in a Pilates studio/workplace

• The candidate must provide evidence of having instructed at least 2 different client groups in a Pilates environment. This instruction of clients will need to have been undertaken over a period of time and include examples of Matwork, equipment and small apparatus programming and delivery

• A statutory declaration confirming 200 hours work experience in a Pilates Studio and 150 hours of personal practice is required to satisfy all requirements for attainment of 10596NAT Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology.
