Course Qualification

On successful completion of this course you will be awarded two nationally recognised qualifications - the 52728WA Certificate IV in Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology and the 10596NAT Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology.

Online Learning - 30 hours  

​

Classroom Delivery120 hours + 60 hours additional student clinics

 

Self Study 280 hours (minimum of 1 hr / day over duration of the course)

 

Observation - 10 hours

 

Personal Practice - 150 hours

 

Clinical Practice - 200 hours

Total Hours - 850 hours

  

Course Duration - 12 months

 

Pre-requisite - 30 hrs Pilates Practice (minimum) and capable of undertaking Pilates Repertoire.

The Tensegrity Training Integrated Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology  includes both the 52728WA Certificate IV in Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology and the 10596NAT Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology allowing you to specialise in your area of interest and become an expert Pilates practitioner with a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

 

This program equips graduates with the skills required to develop into an exceptional Pilates Professional!

 

The Tensegrity Training Integrated Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology includes a series of workshops and access to online essential knowledge to learn in detail the Pilates repertoire as well as modifications, progressions, teaching skills, cueing, program development and safety for both Matwork and Equipment.

 

Our Integrated Diploma course will equip you with the skills and experience to successfully enter the workforce as a Pilates Instructor who is capable of making adaptions to meet special needs that arise in the health industry, including pregnancy, rehabilitation and movement therapy.

 

The Integrated Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology will provide you with exercise prescription and teaching techniques, movement analysis and postural assessment skills, as well as a solid understanding of anatomy and the human body. Our Pilates training will provide you with the ultimate base for a career in this exciting industry.

 

The Pilates industry has seen a solid growth in demand for quite some time and graduates of the Tensegrity Training Diploma can enter the Pilates industry as an individual practitioner or as a member of an allied health practice.

Graduates of the 10596NAT Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology are eligible for Level 2 membership of the Australian Pilates Method Association Inc. (APMA) and the Pilates Alliance Australasia (PAA) the peak industry bodies for Pilates in Australia.

 

This qualification is also recognised by ESSA and attracts 15 CPD points

  • $1,862 Learner Materials Fee at the time of enrolling  and prior to attendance at the 1st Workshop

  • Both Deposit and Learner Materials Fee must be paid prior to attendance at the 1st Workshop
